Cooking Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced meat with half of the ground onions , half of the yogurt , chopped fresh coriander, and 2 tablespoons of Shan Kofta Seasoning Mix . Knead thoroughly until the mixture becomes smooth and well combined.
2. Shape the mixture into approximately 40 small round meatballs (koftas) of equal size and set aside.
3. Heat ghee or cooking oil in a deep pot and fry the remaining onion paste until it turns golden brown . Add garlic, the remaining yogurt, and the rest of the Shan Kofta Seasoning Mix . Stir-fry for a few minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in 2-3 glasses of water and bring the curry to a gentle boil. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes .
5. Carefully add the prepared meatballs to the simmering curry. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 20-30 minutes , or until the koftas are fully cooked and tender. Avoid stirring with a spoon while cooking to prevent the meatballs from breaking apart.

Serving Suggestion: Garnish with fresh coriander, julienned ginger, and sliced green chilies. Serve hot with naan, chapati, paratha, or steamed basmati rice, accompanied by yogurt raita and fresh salad for a complete and authentic South Asian meal.
